Pop quiz

Ha is growing into a reader and has enjoyed taking charge of some stories during our nightly bedtime routine. Tonight she read V a picture book about animals and did it "quiz" style, giving V hints so V could point to the animal Ha was describing.

Most of her hints were pretty run-of-the-mill/logical:

"What has a long beak and lives in a tree?" (Toucan)

"What can fly and has polka dots and can land on you?" (Ladybug)

"What can crawl on you and get in your skin?" (Spider, with tick characteristics--we had a couple tick run-ins this summer)

But one stood out as inexplicable:

"What crawls up your leg and puts toys in your butt?"

Apparently, a snake. These girls crack me up! :o)
